USB to RS485 converter
PUR485-GS is designed for conversion from USB interface to RS485 line. In the computer system, new virtual serial port is created, through which you can access the RS485 line.
Indicators (POWER, RXD, TXD) on the device indicate power supply and data transmission. The data transmission is half-duplexed. Data flow control is controlled automatically. USB line is galvanically isolated from RS485 with isolation strength of ±50 V. The device includes an ending terminator that can be disconnected by a switch at the bottom side of the convertor. Massive case of the converter is designed for work in industrial environment.
After installation of the software, the device acts as a serial port.
