Positioning device

The positioning device is designed for positioning two sensors whose output differential signal controls the direction of movement of the servo drive for centering the web material (rubber, textile, sheet, plastic, etc.), wound on the hopper collecting drum.

The sensors are mounted by means of brackets on movable brackets which protrude through a longitudinal opening in the bottom of the device. The sensors themselves with the brackets are not part of the positioning device. The distance adjustment of the movable brackets is possible via the PROFIBUS DP serial interface or via a hand-held terminal.

The manufactured types differ in the maximum range of movement (maximum distance) of the brackets. This dimension is specified at a distance of 22 mm from the outer edge of the consoles. Maximum distance for: PSZ 098R L1max = 980 mm, PSZ 110R L1max = 1100 mm.

The minimum distance is the same for both types: L1min = 150 mm. The device is fixed to the machine structure in the "T" grooves at the rear of the machine using nuts (special nuts supplied with the brackets).
