Electromagnetic field water treatment
Device for water treatment by electromagnetic field (UVEMP) is used to prevent the formation and removal of pre-existing limescale in pipes, on boiler heating elements, on tap valves, etc.
Untreated water contains dissolved mineral salts which enter the water through the action of CO2 present in the water. Seepage through the earth's surface dissolves minerals, mainly calcium hydro-carbonate salts Ca[HCO3]2, existing in solution as separate ions [Ca++] and [HCO3]-.
The total hardness of the water is then given by the sum of the salts present. The deposition of these salts leads to the formation of so-called scale. Since the salts are present in solution in the form of positively and negatively charged ions, they can be suitably acted upon by means of force fields. This is the essence of the function of the electromagnetic field water treatment apparatus.
The dynamic electromagnetic field created by the coil wound on the pipe causes the release of ions from the electrostatic bond on the water molecules.
The released positive and negative ions collide with each other and form harmless, very fine crystals of aragonite, with a bond stronger than the bond to the water molecules.
These crystals do not have the ability to form scale and wash out of the pipe as a fine sludge.
